Our Classes:
Lead Right - With the Basics –
Obedience Level 1

$475
Description:
This class is ideal for most dogs — especially those who are easily overexcited, pull on leash, jump on guests, or struggle to listen when it counts. Whether your dog is brand new to training or just needs more structure, this class helps lay a solid foundation in everyday obedience and calm behavior.

Skills Taught:
-
Leadership and its importance
-
Impulse control
-
Rewards and corrections
-
Intro to heel
-
Recall on a long line

Lead Right - Proof the Basics –
Obedience Level 2
6 Weeks
$575
Prerequisite: Must have completed Obedience Level 1
Description: This class is all about real-world reliability. We take the foundational obedience your dog learned in Level 1 and add more distance, duration, and distraction — helping your dog stay calm and responsive even when things get exciting.
We work through practical scenarios like walking past other dogs, holding commands during greetings, and managing arousal in busy environments. The final class will take place off-property at Maffeo Sutton Park, so you can practice your skills in a real-world setting with professional support.
Skills Taught:
-
Structured heel past distractions (people, dogs, moving objects)
-
Longer duration place and down-stays
-
Recall with mild to moderate distractions
-
Front position (beginning stages of recall-to-front)
-
Polite greetings and manners in new settings
-
Proofing obedience under pressure
Note: This class is ideal for dogs who have completed Obedience Level 1 and are ready to advance their skills in more stimulating environments. If you’re unsure whether your dog is quite ready for the next step, you’re welcome to retake Level 1 at a discounted rate (same handler and dog).

Lead Early - Foundations –
Puppy Level 1
4 Weeks
$299
Description:
This foundational class is specifically tailored to puppies in the 10–14 week developmental window—a period critical for shaping temperament, resilience, and social adaptability. While it’s always rewarding when a young puppy begins to demonstrate recognizable “skills,” the primary objective at this stage is not obedience, but rather the cultivation of confidence and the development of a strong, trusting relationship with their handler.
Puppies undergo significant neurological and emotional changes during this early phase, making it essential that their experiences are positive, varied, and gently structured. Exposure to new environments, controlled social interaction, and early engagement games are introduced with this in mind. Skills such as sit, touch, and recall are introduced in context, but the broader focus remains on preparing your puppy to learn well into adolescence and beyond.
Skills Taught:
-
Potty training & crate routine
-
Leash pressure introduction
-
Name game & engagement
-
Exploring new places confidently
-
Touch command
-
Sit
-
Early socialization
-
Leash recall
Note: This class is ideal for puppies between 10 and 14 weeks of age. If your puppy is older than 14 weeks, we recommend registering for Lead Early - Skills and Structure

Lead Early - Skills and Structure –
Puppy Level 2
6 Weeks
$395
Description:
This class is for puppies who are ready to start building structure, routine, and real-world skills into their daily lives. While we continue to prioritize confidence and connection, Skills & Structure begins layering in obedience, boundaries, and expectations that will carry into adolescence and beyond.
We focus on leash handling, crate routine, polite behavior in the home, and introduce important foundational commands like place and down. We also take the training off-site for one class, helping your puppy learn to stay focused in public settings. This class is especially helpful for working through common puppy issues like biting, jumping, and barking — all while teaching your dog how to stay calm and engaged.
Skills Taught:
-
Leash skills and walking focus
-
Place command
-
Addressing common issues (biting, jumping, barking)
-
Crate routine
-
Down command
-
Threshold boundaries (doors, gates, car)
-
Long-line recall
-
One off-site public lesson
Note: If your puppy is under 16 weeks (at age of class start date), we highly recommend starting with our Lead Early – Foundations class first, and then continuing into this one. The two classes are designed to build on each other — giving your puppy the best possible start.
All puppies must have received their second round of vaccinations before attending.

Reactivity Reset
Level 1
6 Weeks
$749
Description:
This class is designed for dogs who bark, lunge, or overreact to other dogs, people, or environmental triggers. Whether their reactivity stems from fear, frustration, or overexcitement, this class gives you the tools to rebuild trust, shift your dog’s mindset, and create calm, structured patterns in high-pressure situations.
We focus on building handler leadership, improving timing, and creating accountability through balanced training methods. Dogs work at distances appropriate to their individual thresholds and progress at their own pace with professional guidance.
This is a safe and structured space to work through reactivity with the support of a trainer who understands what you’re facing — and who’s there to help you get real results.
Skills Taught:
-
Importance of leadership
-
Focus with distractions
-
Impulse control
-
Reward and correction systems
-
Heeling and leash handling
-
Rebuilding handler trust
Requirements:
-
Dogs must be muzzled if there is a history of biting, nipping, lunging, or growling toward humans
(Our trainers will need to handle your dog at times during class, so safety is essential) -
Prong collars, if used, must be backed up with a carabiner clipped to a flat collar
-
No harnesses allowed - unless as a backer to regular collar
-
Dogs must wear either a slip lead, properly fitted martingale collar, or prong collar — this is to ensure there is no risk of backing out and escaping during training
Note: This is the class we recommend for dogs who struggle on leash around other dogs or people. If you’re unsure if this is the right fit, we’re happy to chat before enrolling.
