By booking with Lead Right Dog Training, you are agreeing to the following:

Deposit and Payment

Lead Right Dog Training requires a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your booking, with the full payment due upon arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Accuracy and Admittance

By receipt of payment, you agree that you are leaving your pet with Lead Right Dog Training for board and train or training in a group or private lesson, and that you are the legal OWNER/GUARDIAN who certifies the accuracy of all information provided to Lead Right Dog Training, whether written or oral, about the pet. Lead Right Dog Training reserves the right to deny admittance to the pet for any reason at any time.

Booking Confirmation

You will receive a Booking Confirmation email with full details of your booking, including deposit and final payment details.

Cancellation and Changes

a. Board and Train Bookings: For board and train bookings, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks before the start date, the deposit may be applied to other training services. However, if you cancel within 2 weeks of the start date, $750 of the deposit will be forfeited as a late cancellation fee, with the remaining amount potentially applicable to other services.

b. Private Lessons: The lesson package becomes non refundable after the first lesson has been used or canceled with less than 48 hours notice. A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellation. Failure to provide this notice will result in a charge of 50% of the service fee. Unused lesson credits may be applied to a future board and train. All lesson packages must be used within 6 months of purchase date. If unused the credits will become invalid.

c. Daycare: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation. Failure to provide this notice will result in a charge of 50% of the service fee. Daycare packages that have been purchased with the weekly discounts (1/2/3x weekly rate, charged per month) expire 35 days after date of purchase.

d. Serious Injury or Death: In the event of a serious injury or death affecting your pet, you must provide a verified note from a veterinarian confirming the situation. Upon receipt of such verification, the late cancellation fee may be waived, and the deposit may be applied to other training services.

Holidays and Missed Training Days:
Lead Right Dog Training operates on most training days but reserves the right to close on public holidays. In such cases, we may offer a make-up session within 30 days of the missed training day.
If a client misses training time for personal reasons (e.g., sickness, vet appointments, daycare), Lead Right Dog Training is not responsible for rescheduling or making up the missed hours.

Payment and Reservation

Non-receipt of payment upon booking means that the reservation will not be held until payment is received. Any cancellation of any service must be confirmed by Lead Right Dog Training Inc within the allotted timeframe.

Health and Behaviour

The OWNER/GUARDIAN certifies that their pet is in good health and has provided Lead Right Dog Training with a written or oral record of any health or behavioral issues.

Assumption of Risk

The OWNER/GUARDIAN acknowledges and agrees that they are assuming all risks of illness, disease, harm, or otherwise to their pet by allowing their pet to stay or train with Lead Right Dog Training. Lead Right Dog Training agrees to exercise reasonable care of the pet during its board and train or private/group lesson. During transport in a motor vehicle, the OWNER/GUARDIAN holds Lead Right Dog Training and its staff harmless in the event of injury or accident during transportation.

Liability

The OWNER/GUARDIAN agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of the pet while in the care of Lead Right Dog Training, including payment of costs for any injury to staff or other animals, or damage to facilities caused by the pet.
